For foreign students interested in attending a German School
The Schloss-Schule Kirchberg in Kirchberg an der Jagst is a boarding school and state-approved grammar school.
- The school is situated in the northeast of the state of Baden-Württemberg, adjacent to the motorway A 6 and about 100 km from Stuttgart, Würzburg, Heidelberg, Ulm and Nürnberg respectively.
- The school is attended by ca. 300 male and female pupils. Of these about 100 are boarders.
- The school is supported by a non-profit-making foundation and is independent of any fixed ideology.
The Schloss-Schule Kirchberg is open for students from other countries who wish to intensify their knowledge of the German language and culture; and she is open for students who wish to continue their school education in Germany.
The Schloss-Schule Kirchberg offers two possibilities:
- a special four-week course "German as a second language" which will take place at the end of the school year, from the end of June until the end of July.
- a stay of a year or longer in which the students attend normal school lessons and - if necessary - are given additional tuition in the German language.
Apart from these possibilities individual arrangements can be made.
